Sanofi-Avantis loved Exelixis cancer drugs and showed readiness to pay a lot, collaborate with the small firm and advance the molecules quickly. Is this not what we have preached about Exelixis? The news is good for both firms.

We were sure that Amgen will fall in love with Cytokinetics' drug CK-1827452,and with the whole cardiac contractility program. It did. Now Amgen will go full speed in advancing the drug in clinical trials and developing other cardiac drugs together with Cytokinetics.
In Japan, approximately 40,000 people are diagnosed with liver cancer each year and approxi-mately 36,000 die from the disease, making primary liver cancer the third leading cause of can-cer-related death in Japan.

Golead's antihypertensive drug darusentan brings hope to patients suffering from resistant hypertension that no available treatment can control.
The approval was a surprise to analysts who were convinced the drug was dead. It was not and the approval gave shareholders 800% on their investment.
